Beyond the altar stands a statue of the saint in whose honor the temple was built. Honesty, it should be said "the remains of a statue”: the head is completely missing, and the rest is barely in better shape.
On the statue base you can — with difficulty — distinguish the first letter of the Saint's name: it's a “C”.
